Aromatherapy Diffusers

Aromatherapy Diffusers

Aromatherapy diffusers, essential oil burners, vaporizers, … whatever we like to call them, these are a wonderful way to fill the atmosphere with superb healing aromas which purifies and revitalizes.

Using essential oil blends in aromatherapy diffusers, is also a very simple way for everyone to enjoy the benefits of aromatherapy. They are widely available and come in all sorts of styles and colors. You can buy electric essential oil burners or aromatherapy diffusers which work with a tea-light candle.

I have three electric diffusers in my home, all of which I use almost on a daily basis. One in my office in which I use my pre-made Uplift Me blend. One in the living area which has my pre-made Chill blend plus one in my bedroom which I turn on about half an hour before going to bed and I use my Calmness blend in it. They all have a lovely ambient light and visitors to my home always comment on both the aroma and the stylish look.

If I’m using a ceramic diffuser, my preferred choice of tea-light is beeswax and these can burn for up to 8 hours.

Check the Aromatherapy Supplies page for more suppliers of aromatherapy diffusers, there are so many different types to choose from.

Essential Oil Blends for your Aromatherapy Diffusers

As with all the recipes on this website, always use only 100% pure essential oils, synthetic oils do not have the healing properties of pure essential oils.

There are many blends to choose from to vaporize in your diffuser but be creative too and make your own special blends.

You will find on certain days you are drawn to certain essential oils. You may need a confidence boost, an uplifting aroma, a relaxing blend or a blend to help you concentrate if you are working or studying.

You may even wish to create a special ‘festive’ blend if you are having a dinner party or celebrating a holiday such as Christmas. Even the seasons can effect what blends you will choose to burn.

Start off with these essential oil blend ideas below then create your own. Experimenting with your favorite essential oils can be fun as well as rewarding. If you find a blend you want to share email me the details and I will upload it to the website – you pick a name, it can be your very own blend.
