Origin: Found in Australia and some Pacific Islands. Grows in warm weather like in the Mediterranean and North Africa.

Description: Lemony uplifting and sweet

History: Imported to Europe in the 1700’s.

Properties and Indications:

  • Cleansing, a great tonic for the nervous system
  • Balancing and tonifying
  • Not over-stimulating
  • Good for the neuromuscular system – any aches and pains, joint articulation
  • Digestive problems related to peristalsis, ie. muscle work
  • Multiple Sclerosis sufferers – pick up for the nerves
  • Clears the air in difficult circumstances
  • Can help with some respiratory complains such as bronchitis and asthma

Contra-indications:

  • Do not use on dry or itchy skin
