Description: Herby, slightly spicy, pungent but sweet
History: Named after the Greek word ‘petros’ meaning rock or stone which is where parsley prefers to be grown. A much loved and used garden herb, the essential benefits of Parsley are not often known.
Properties and Indications:
- Diuretic
- Digestive stimulant
- Excellent for halitosis (bad breath)
- Useful for cellulite
- Could ease menopausal symptoms
- Good for poor circulation
- Can help ease muscle problems including arthritis
- Helpful for urinary problems such as thrush and cystitis
- Good for dry and aging skin
- Uplifting and cleansing
Contra-indications:
- Not to be used in pregnancy
- Avoid using if any existing kidney problems are present
