Description: Woody and clean with sweet honey undertones
History: Used by the native New Zealanders, the Maori, for its antiseptic and healing properties. Known as the New Zealand Tea Tree.
Properties and Indications:
- Highly anti-fungal, antibiotic and antiseptic
- Healing to the skin (burns, wounds)
- Intestinal infections
- Athletes Foot, ringworm and other fungal conditions
- Lung conditions such as bronchitis
- Colds, sore throats and flu
- Urinary infections such as cystitis and thrush
- Joint pain
