Description: Slightly pungent and sweet earthy aroma
History: The name Carrot comes from the Greek word ‘Carotos’. Well known for containing carotene which
is a form of Vitamin A when converted to retinal.
Properties and Indications:
- Excellent for skin conditions and said to help aging skin
- Helpful for diarrhea and flatulence
- Good for the respiratory system and can ease coughs and colds
- Detoxifies the liver
- Emmenagogue – regulates heavy periods
- Can help ease cystitis
- Clears the mind and can relieve stress and tiredness
