Origin: Lavandin is a hybrid plant produced from Lavender and Spike Lavender.
Description: Floral, sweet and clear, similar to Lavender.
History: Lavandin is a more robust plant than Lavender therefore produces a higher yield making it less expensive than true lavender and spike lavender. It is however, thought to be less powerful as an essential oil.
